Job Description
We're seeking a VP of Operations to lead our team and spearhead initiatives that drive operational excellence across the organization. You'll play a pivotal role in streamlining processes, optimizing infrastructure, and fostering a high-performing team culture.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive operational strategy aligned with company goals.
- Identifying key metrics and establishing OKRs to track progress towards operational excellence.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams (engineering, finance, etc.) to ensure smooth operation execution.
- Process Optimization:
- Leading initiatives to identify and eliminate inefficiencies across all operational functions.
- Overseeing the implementation of process improvements for enhanced performance and cost savings.
- Championing a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Operational Infrastructure:
- Ensuring the effective utilization of operational infrastructure to support smooth value proposition fulfillment.
- Prioritizing projects and initiatives related to infrastructure optimization and automation.
- Working closely with engineering to ensure robust systems and technology support for operations.
- Team Management:
- Building and leading a high-performing operations team with a strong focus on employee development and engagement.
- Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and problem-solving within the team.
- Implementing talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent in operations.
Experience and Skills you MUST have:
- 10+ years of experience in leading and managing complex operational functions in a fast-paced environment.
- Managed multiple teams spanning across several regions successfully. Ideal candidate would have managed operations across countries.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of operational best practices and cost management principles.
- Experience with developing and implementing OKRs to measure operational effectiveness.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and build a high-performing team.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to build effective relationships across all organizational levels.
